Hip Hop/House Masterclasses with Turbo

Fresh from the Finals of Sky 1s ‘Got To Dance’, popper Turbo hosts Hip-hop/House Masterclasses at Anamal.
Issac, aka Turbo recently shot to fame for his breathtaking performance on ‘Got To Dance’ 2011 making the grand final Turbo. He now has an army of fans across the UK. Anamal met Turbo at a recent performance at the UDO Live Show ’Dancing through the Decades’ which also starred BGT’s Ronan Parke and ‘Got to Dance’ 2011 Winners Chris and Wes. Anamal impressed Turbo so much that he instantly agreed to host a workshop at our studios and this duly took place on Aug 11th.
We are proud to announce…. .. he is back for more!!

His Profile.
Issac, aka Turbo, felt drawn to the dance floor at the tender age of four, encouraged by his African dancer Mum and reggae drummer Dad, but school bullying in later years led him to give up dancing. After watching the film Breakdance however, when he was 14, Isaac was inspired to try different dance styles including street and hip-hop. Dance has been a part of his life ever since, believing “Music gives me questions, I give it answers.” Issac’s career has been on turbo speed after coming second in the grand final of TV dance show Bump ‘n’ Grind in 2003/4. His impressive credits include appearances in music videos for Madonna, Jamelia, Will Smith, Mis-teeq, Shaznay Lewis and has also been a backing dancer for no less than the legendary Whitney Houston.

'Show stoppers' Competition

London's West End
Showstoppers: West End Challenge will feature a principal cast of up to 25 performers, made up of both singers and dancers.
A further 150 performers from selected theatre schools and dance troupes will also appear, along with top class speciality acts and a compere to host the evening.
Each troupe will compete against the others on the night for the chance to lift the trophy and appear in an all winners production in December.

Anamal Dance Company are delighted to be invited to participate in a very special one-night variety show, right in the heart of London's West End!
This is an opportunity for our London troupe dancers to perform on a West End stage at the home of the Phantom Of The Opera.

We're also running coaches down to London, departing at 7am from Hoylake and leaving immediately after the show finishes at approximately 10pm. Seats on the coaches are £24.00 each for the return journey. Coach seats can be booked via reception at the Studios

Our senior performance troupe will be appearing at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool at the World Street Dance Championships alongside all of the Britain's Got Talent finalists including George Sampson, Diversity, Flawless, Aiden Davis and Signature. Our performance includes 2 vocal performances by our very own drama and singing coach Jay! This is a special Michael Jackson Tribute show and is sure to be a fantastic evening. The World Street Dance Championships
